A New Cratedigger Mix -- Down and Dirty
This time around in cratedigger labs, I mixed it up a bit and there is a mixture of soul, funk and more jazz grooves than I have thrown down in the past.
I have been working on the new gear to get the best sound, so I hope that I was successful. I think I made all the fades...

This mix was compiled from all original vinyl sources, most of them being the 7 inch 45 variety. The records themselves were found in the bottom of dusty crates in and around Chicago and the northern IL area.

RB...I've been looking forward to hearing a new mix with the upgraded eqip. I've only got one belt drive turntable and have been thinking about getting a couple of new direct drives. Will give this mix a listen tomorrow. I know what you mean about the lack of feedback. But, I keep seeing loads of downloads and the visitor counter keeps rolling so that helps me think I'm not wasting my time. I suppose if no one was getting the mixes that it would be bit discouraging. Anyway, I'll show a little love and say I totally dig what you do and this is definitely one of my favorite spots. I agree, eBay is the DEVIL! I'd much rather rummage through the boxes at the Guru's and El Suprimo's. Craig's Records By Mail is cool when I can afford the prices.
